Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MounetBayt mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
MounetBayt is a marketplace that connects buyers with Lebanese makers, farmers, and artisans. We facilitate discovery and ordering of products. Each order is fulfilled directly by the maker, who is responsible for the product and its delivery.
Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
Orders and Payment
When you place an order, you enter into an agreement directly with the maker. MounetBayt facilitates the connection but is not a party to the transaction. Payment is made directly to the maker on delivery (cash on delivery), unless otherwise specified.
Makers set their own prices and product availability. Stock levels and prices may change. We do our best to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee that all listings reflect real-time status.
Cancellations and Returns
You may cancel an order before it has been shipped or prepared, subject to the maker's discretion. After delivery, returns and refunds are handled directly between you and the maker. We encourage open communication.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
- Harass, abuse, or threaten makers, other users, or our team
Maker Listings
Makers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their products, and compliance with applicable laws (including food safety regulations where relevant). MounetBayt does not independently verify every claim made by makers.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including text, logos, designs, and software — is the property of MounetBayt or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission. Makers retain rights to their own product photos and descriptions.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MounetBayt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from transactions with makers.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users, makers, or the Service. You may delete your account at any time.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Beirut.
