This Privacy Policy describes how MounetBayt ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MounetBayt mobile application and website (the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Order information
When you place an order, we collect delivery addresses, contact phone numbers, order contents, and any notes you provide to the maker.
Device information
We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and analytics purposes.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process and fulfill your orders
- To enable communication between you and the makers you order from
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, email verification, password resets)
- To improve the Service and troubleshoot issues
- To comply with legal obligations
Information Sharing
We share your name, phone number, and delivery address with the makers you order from, so they can fulfill and deliver your order. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as email delivery via Resend). These providers are bound by confidentiality and may only use your information to provide services to us.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Order history is retained for at least 3 years for record-keeping and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Children
MounetBayt is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
